COURSE OVERVIEW

EMT Hybrid/Accelerated Initial Certification Deciding between EMR or EMT, here is some additional information: EMRs Requires a minimum of 60 hours of training, focusing on basic first aid. Typically acts as a first responder (firefighter, police officer) initiating care until an ambulance arrives. Focused on basic life support (BLS), CPR, and initial scene assessment. Minimum age of 14 years old. EMTs Requires a minimum of 150 hours of training, including clinical observation/rides, covering more basic life support skills. Operates as part of an ambulance crew, responsible for patient assessment, care, and transport. Minimum age of 16 years old. Our Hybrid/Blended Course consists of 150 hours over the course length you have chosen. The online component combined with the hands-on training will meet the minimum requirement of 150 hours. Commitment: Assignments are due every Saturday. You should expect to spend roughly 30–35 hours per week on combined online and hands-on. Join Easton EMS for our comprehensive Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) course, designed to equip you with essential skills for providing basic life support in emergencies. Requirements include completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700, along with CPR certification from AHA BLS, which will be completed during the course. Participants will receive the AAOS Emergency Care for the Sick and Injured, 12th edition, to enhance their learning experience. Out of State Students - PLEASE READ If you are an out-of-state student, please be sure to check the regulations for your particular state regarding becoming an EMT, whether online classes are accepted in your state, and whether your state accepts the National Registry of EMT reciprocity. Easton EMS does NOT offer refunds or credits for any of our online classes, so be sure you are registering for a class that will meet your goals in your state. All sales have a $500 non-refundable deposit. Once program has started, the remaining course fees are non-refundable. If payment is "disputed" and found in favor of Easton EMS, the student will be responsible for dispute fees incurred by Easton during the dispute process. If you have any questions on fees, or discrepencies, please reach out prior to "disputing".


CANCELLATION POLICY

State Practical Exam Payment/Registration Policy - Registration is first come, first serve, NO waitlist. - ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NON-REFUNDABLE. In the event an exam is canceled by Easton EMS, you will be notified via email and posted on the Easton EMS website. - Registration is NON-TRANSFERABLE. - By registering for exam, you agree to all terms of the exam. Course Payment/Registration Policy - $500 Non-refundable deposit whether a full payment is made or $500 deposit option. - Balance due first night of class "DISPUTES" By registering for this test/course, you have agreed to fees and conditions. If payment is "disputed" and found in favor of Easton EMS, candidate will be responsible for dispute fees incurred by Easton during your dispute process.
