Emergency Medical Technician Defined:

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) are health care professionals who arrive to scenes of accidents or medical emergencies to treat individuals. There are three levels of emergency medical technicians: EMT-1(basic), EMT-2/EMT-3 (intermediate) and EMT-4/Paramedic. The title of an emergency medical technician varies depending on the amount of training the individuals has received.

What is a Basic Emergency Medical Technician?

Basic Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are health care professionals who assist individuals who are unable to make it to the hospital and need immediate care. For example, emergency medical technicians help elderly people who fall in their homes and injure themselves. They may also help individuals who have a stroke or people injured in a car accident. Technicians are concerned with stabilizing patients before they reach the hospital.

Cost $500 ($250 with application; $250 first night of class)
includes text book; workbook; stethoscope/BP cuff;
penlight; CPR Card and CPR key chain

Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursday starting September 23rd
and every other Saturday with a completion date of December 13th
